Q. When your company purchase computers from a computer firm, what sort of service contract should it look for? What are the services you need for your company's PC?

A. I trust 100% in HP products and support. You should always get a one year free support contract and a full unconditional warranty on the machine. I broke a USB off in one of my HP machines and HP sent me the part and the in home / office technician to replace it free of charge. If you ever have a problem with one of their machines that is not easily resolved, they will usually custom build you one and double your performance for free. HP hands down. So service agreements and the company's ability and willingness to stand behind their product are very important things to consider when investing in a new product. webmaster@freestuff2do.co m

How do how cat sitting services place liability on the pet owner in the case of flea infestation?
Q. I'm setting up a cat sitting service, and need information on: 1.) At least two other ways (apart from deposits and contracts) that cat sitting services place liability on the pet owner in the case that there is a flea infestation (of staff and premises) from a client's cat. 2.) How much they charge the client for a deposit to cover possible flea infestation. Please identify your sources.

A. I would keep a supply of Advantage or Frontline on hand for owners that have not treated their animals. Have the owner sign a contract agreeing to the fact that their pet has been treated by a flea killing product such as the two afore mentioned items. If it is found that the cat is infested with fleas, then the owner will be required to pay for a tube of the product at say, $25.00 a tube, a bath for the cat at the groomers price, and flea treament of the premises by a reputable company. Make certain that they understand this clearly by reciting it to them before you have them sign. So many people sign stuff and never read it and then are shocked at what they signed. A. I recommend visiting scrapbooking forums and posting your services on their sites, if the forum rules allow it. Alternatively, do you have a website? There are many hosting companies that can help you create a website even with average computer experience. Alternatively, have you considered attending your community fairs this spring and summer to have a booth? You might contact your local city government and find out if you can teach a class for free on scrapbooking how-to's for the community rec center. Go to senior centers, church groups, and volunteer to teach them. You'll have a chance to introduce yourself and tastefully tell them you offer these services.
