Any good home based businesses that actually work and don't cost a fortune to start?
Q. I want to do a home based business. I would prefer one that is below $30 or even free! I want actual home business ideas...not this survey stuff or surfing things, so please NO information on survey/surfing things! I want ideas for things i can do that actually generates some money. I am not looking to be a Millionaire or anything but I am looking for a good home business that can bring in good money. Thanks!

A. You can start your own business through direct sales making a percentage of what you sell however not sure what business you can start with only $30 maybe Avon. Remember with any business you have business expenses and overhead but these things are also tax advantages. I started my business with Mary Kay it is one of the highest paying direct sales companies I work less then 10 hours a week because that's what works for me and my family there are no sales quotas no territories and no parties to submit you work your business in the way that fits you life. You buy directly from the company for wholesale and sell to the customer for retail just as any store owner would do making the same amount of commission as a new consultant as a top… [cont.]

Suddenly Switching from gasoline based automobiles to electric powered. How would it affect our economy>?
Q. I was chosen to pick a topic for debate for an English class, and I decided on whether or not switching to electricity based automobiles would be a smart thing to do if we had the option. I have to include such factors as economy, jobs that could be lost with the loss of oil companies, impact on the environment, etc. Any online sources would be greatly appreciated. Also definitely gonna give a best answer to someone who answers, so please help!

Can I start a home based business, not get a business license and not pay taxes?
Q. I read that if you dont get a business license and you run an at home based business and your neighbors dont complain about your work, its unlikey the IRS will find out and make you pay a fee as well as put your business on hold until its done. Now, in the state of FL, if I chose to not get a license because the type of business (event planning) did not require one, would I still have to pay taxes?

A. Make note of where you read that. And do NOT read that garbage any more if you value your financial well being! Of course you have to pay taxes! And what gives you the idea that the IRS won't know about it? Eventually you'll have a business customer who will hand you a Form W-9 and ask for your taxpayer ID number before they pay you. Assuming that they pay you more than $600 (and possibly if it's less) the IRS will be notified of the payment. Or someone will get audited and will have claimed an expense deduction for the money that they paid you. The IRS auditor will then gather the details about YOU and make a note to follow the money trail and see if YOU are paying YOUR share. Either way, you're BUSTED! But let's just say that… [cont.]
