How do you keep a friendship despite severe moral differences?
Q. I have a friend, and lately our friendship has been a little shaky. Recently, I found out that he lied to me, and that he never would have told the truth if I hadn't made it perfectly clear that I knew already. These lies were generally about moral differences. When such things are really important to you, how do you look past them and keep the friendship strong? Is there a way you can hope to get your friend to see things your way?

A. I know exactly how u feel, a friend of mine has completely different political views and it's really hard to avoid talking about those subjects. But, i think what kept us strong was that we accepted each other w/o trying to change the other. When something comes up in a conversation that we both disagree on, we politely listen to the other's side and consider it. Then, u give ur side. It's not a debate, just a discussion, and we're very careful to not let it turn into an argument. The thing is, u have to work very hard and u have to make it clear that he has to work hard too if he wants to continue the friendship. But the work is totally worth it if he's a good friend. We're also very open with each other. Tell him how it hurt u that he… [cont.]

A. Bring beer and you've instantly made friends. Just be easy to talk to, start conversations. Smile. We're quite sarcastic (none of that slapstick humour for us) so yeah (:

How does a friendship with a cat differ from that with a dog?
Q. People have a different outlook on cats and dogs. How does the friendship of an owner differ with cats and dogs? One doesn't really give more affection than the other.
Asked by Kathy - Thu Dec 3 20:52:19 2009 - - 6 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Cats are usually just independent animals that just take care of themselves. Dogs are more of a "man's best friend" since there more playful and energetic. I am a cat owner and love cats and dogs but just find that dogs are more active.

What is the difference between an open friendship and a closed friendship?
Q. I know what an open relationship is but what does it mean if you have a closed friendship? Only one friend? Just wondering.
Asked by Kat Guinn - Fri Feb 27 21:49:28 2009 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Open friendship: meaning that you share your problems and experiences, so you should be able to tell this person anything, Closed friendships: is someone you don't tell anything , because they don't care and don't want to know etc. not worth having any closed friendships in my opinion. Peace. Jaegermeister99

How do I ask someone out without putting our friendship in too much jeopardy?
Q. Im new to the whole dating scene cause im a teenager. A. That is great that you are thinking about your friendship, well i was in this same situation. I was scared because I didn't want to ruin a good thing like that as well. Well, you just need to let her know how you really feel, because if you don't you are always going to be thinking about what could have been. Believe me, i know. Just be honest with her, and if it works out then great, but if she doesn't feel the same way, at least you asked. You can still be her friend, even if she doesn't feel the same way. And if you guys do go out and end up breaking up just try to be friends again, it might take a few weeks to rebuild that again, but don't just push it away. The way that you should approach this is, by asking her if you could… [cont.]

Your smile - so sweet And so bright - Kept me going When day was as dark as night. You never ever judged me, You understood my sorrow. Then you told me it needn't be that way And gave me the hope of a better tomorrow. You were always there for me, I knew I could count on you. How do you start a relationship rather than a friendship?
Q. I'm 23 and have never even been on a date. I have plenty of opportunities to meet woman, but I always end up becoming friends with them rather than something more. My problem is the qualities I would find attractive in a friend are the same exact ones I find attractive in a girlfriend (kindness, honesty, etc.). How can I shift from making new friends to possibly making a girlfriend, and is it possible to still ask out a girl I am friends with without endangering the friendship or looking like I have ulterior motives in becoming friends with her?

A. So how do you know when it's time to kiss? Does she have to bend over to kiss you? So your really a nice guy. One of the ones who most girls will pass up fro a bad boy. I don't even know how to begin to answer your question but friendship is a great place to begin a relationship. Then at some point you might want to ask her how she feels about you and let her know how you really feel about her. Good Luck

How do you turn a friendship (or good friendship) on the Sims 2 into a romance?
Q. I have been playing the sims 2 as a male character, and have a "Good Friendship" with a female character. I want to turn it into a romance, but there seems to be no options that lead to that. Any addicts, help me out!
Asked by Ronny M - Fri Sep 5 20:13:57 2008 - - 4 Answers - 0 Comments
A. you've got to get the "lifetime" meter for the relationship up above 50 before those options become available. This also includes having it above 50 for the female character (ie: it doesn't matter if YOUR sim has it above 50 for the female, if she doesn't..you need to work on things more.) Also, you might want to make sure that the female Sim isn't a teen. If she is, those romantic options will never become available (heh..so much for being "true to life.")

A. you've got to get the "lifetime" meter for the relationship up above 50 before those options become available.
